October Bloomsday

Welcome to the October edition of Bloomsday, hosted as always, by May Dreams Garden.

At this time, I still have a few blooms that are looking happy.

This unknown gem, for instance, is very happy.

Most of my blooms look a bit more spent, however.

This allium has definitely seen better days.

Soon the blooms will all be gone and all that will be left are the berries and spider webs that are already beginning to make an appearance.

We’re winding down to season’s end. The purple haze of autumn is one of my favorite times.

By the way, I love how natural your place looks with all the grasses.

I tried to leave a reply on your blog, but it wouldn’t acknowledge my name or URL.

Here it is more like it is summer one day and winter storms the next. 🙂

I do like berries and spiderwebs, though! Love your sweet little blooms. Happy GBBD!

Happy GBBD to you, too! I’m glad somebody else likes spider webs. My daughter thinks they’re disgusting, no matter how much I try to convert her.

You have some wonderful blooms as well. I would have commented on your blog, but I’ve been having trouble with that recently. The “Open ID” option isn’t accepting either a name or my website. If you know how to get around this, without creating a pseudo account, I would love to know the trick!
